Wishing it was still summer? This guy may help.

Neither Native American nor Oklahoma's fastest growing community, Navajo Bixby is the new music straight out the butchins of one Jersey boy. It is filled with tropical sounds and catchy vocal melodies and layers. Basically, if El Guincho and Panda Bear had a love child their kick-ass baby would try to sound as good as this dude. Moonlighting is my favorite of the two tracks released. Its playful melodies and guitars take an interesting cool turn halfway through the song.

A little more laid back, but still a lot of awesome on

the track Many Ways.

You should also check out what the parents sound

like. This is Panda Bear's Bros.

This, my friends, is the groovin El Guincho and his

song Palmitos Park.

Kinda covers. Kinda cool.

Taken By Trees is Victoria Bergsman's solo project. She is the former lead singer in The Concretes, but she cleverly and playful covers Animal Collective's My Girls as My Boys.

The next is a live sort of cover/remix of Animal Collective's Guys Eyes by Animal Collective's side project Panda Bear(Noash Lennox). Confusing enough? Well just when you think he can't get cooler, he samples Leave Me Be by The Zombies.

Panda Cox sounds even better than they sound

Deerhunter's Bradford Cox side project Atlas Sound's second album, Logos, has already created a big buzz with its accidental leak a few months ago. The first real single, Walkabout, features Panda Bear (AKA Animal Collective's Noah Lennox) and sounds even better than I thought possible. The album is officially being released on October 20th on Kranky records, but for now enjoy your ears being filled with the sounds of panda cox.
